I am Sharelle, the owner of Echidna Hut. I have been an OT since 1989, working in public and private organisations, with children and adults, developing expertise in mental health, physical disability, and neurodiverse conditions.
I have also been a sole trader in business since 1997, bringing decades of experience in clinical and working life into my daily practise.

Echidna Hut is based on the Mid North Coast of NSW, and provides Occupational Therapy services throughout the area down to the Central Coast. I am also an experienced and keen provider of telehealth services, and can work with you nationwide.
Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA)

To make sure your NDIS budget is effectively spent, an FCA captures your ability to function across a range of daily living activities including personal care, domestic skills, and social interactions. From this, recommendations are made for supports that are appropriate to your needs and meet NDIA criteria.
INTERVENTION ASSESSMENT & PROGRAM

When you know you need OT, an intervention assessment will focus on areas that you are worried about. The process is fun and interactive. The results give us a baseline to work from in therapy.
Telehealth Assessments & Programs
structured and outcome focussed
Learn and rehearse skills in all areas - cooking, doing therapy with the kids, play, organisation, self regulation - you name it, we can do it in telehealth. Telehealth is an efficient and fun therapy mode that takes the hassle out of appointments.
